The Today page: run your day

Today is your command center. Open it in the morning and it tells you what needs you, rather than making you go find it.

What’s on the page

  • Your morning briefing. Every morning around 6:00 AM Central, PoolHelm reads your whole operation — routes, chemistry, weather, loose ends — and writes you the three to five things that actually need a decision. It’s condensed on purpose; it isn’t a feed to scroll.
  • Live route status per tech. Each tech’s stops are stacked on a shared clock with a progress fill, so you can see at a glance who’s ahead and who’s behind. The timeline is capped at a realistic workday, and anything running past 6 PM is grouped into a “+N past 6 PM” cluster instead of stretching the chart to midnight.
  • The weather day-strip. Storms are grouped into single decision cards rather than one alarm per stop. See “Weather alerts and customer notifications.”
  • The “Needs attention” tray. Where a stop lands when it’s been missed twice and PoolHelm has stopped moving it on its own. See “What happens when a stop doesn’t get done?”
  • Overload banners. An amber banner when a tech’s day has grown past what they can finish, with a one-tap rebalance.
  • Priority messages you’ve sent your techs, and whether they’ve been acknowledged.
  • Snapshot tiles for the day’s headline numbers.

What you can do from here

Reassign a single stop with “Reassign with AI”, hand off a whole day with “Reassign all for today”, and make the weather call on any affected stop. Those flows have their own articles.
