Working with no signal (offline)

Pools don’t always have signal, so PoolHelm keeps working when you lose it. You can complete almost the entire visit offline, and everything saves to your phone and syncs the moment you’re back online.

Works offline:

• Water readings
• Chemical doses
• Checking off cleaning and equipment tasks
• Notes and flags
• Photos
• Finishing the visit

Needs a signal:

• Starting a visit (tapping Start Service). Start the stop while you still have a bar or two, then work through it offline.

You don’t have to do anything special to sync — when your phone reconnects, your saved work uploads on its own. You’ll see a status indicator letting you know when everything’s synced.

If something doesn’t sync, you’ll be told what. PoolHelm names the pool and the visit rather than saying “some changes couldn’t be saved,” and if a partial sync leaves anything stuck it tells you which part rather than reporting a clean success. Your office is told too, so you’re not the only one who knows.

If you see that message, don’t re-record the visit from scratch. Tell your office — they can see the record on their end, and duplicating a visit makes it harder to sort out, not easier.
