Something in the app looks wrong — what should I do?
Not everything odd is a bug, and knowing the difference saves you a phone call.
Check whether it’s one of these first:
- A drive time labelled as a placeholder. After you drag stops around, the minutes aren’t re-measured until the route builder next runs. PoolHelm labels the figure rather than pretending. Run Build Best Routes to settle it.
- A number that says “More controls coming soon.” The feature works; its settings panel isn’t built. That’s the route builder and the morning briefing.
- “Coming Very Soon” on text messaging. Not broken — not switched on.
- An empty morning briefing. Nothing needed you.
- A route that survived “Clear route assignments.” If a day has completed work attached, PoolHelm keeps it rather than deleting your service history.
If it’s none of those, tell us — and tell us the boring details. What you were doing, what you expected, what happened instead, roughly when, and which customer or invoice it involved. A screenshot is worth a paragraph. Email support@poolhelm.com.
If a technician found it, they have a faster path: the Reports tab in the tech app, where they can describe the problem and attach photos. It goes to your office, not to us — so pass anything on that we need to see.
One thing that is always worth reporting: anything where the app told you two different things about the same fact. Those are the bugs worth catching early, and they’re the ones an owner notices long before we do.
