Add a customer by hand
Go to Customers → Add customer. You enter three things in order: the customer, their property, their pool.
The three steps
- Customer details — name, email, and phone. This is who gets service reports and invoices.
- Property — start typing the address and pick it from the suggestions. PoolHelm checks the address as you type, so routes land in the right place.
- Pool — add the pool or spa, its size and type, and the rest of the specs PoolHelm uses to test and dose. Add a second body of water if the property has one.
Save when you’re done.
What happens when you save
If the address verified and the pool’s required specs are set, the customer moves to Ready and waits for you to switch them on. If something is missing, they save as inactive until you finish it.
Worth knowing. The text-message consent control on the customer form — and the matching pill on their page — are switched off and marked Coming Very Soon. No customer is texted, and nothing is recorded there. Service reports, invoices, and referral invites all go by email.
