Start and complete a service visit
Tap your stop and choose Start Service.
The six phases
- Arrive — check in. Take an arrival photo before you can begin the rest of the visit.
- Clean — the cleaning tasks for this pool.
- Test — record the water readings.
- Treat — add the chemicals PoolHelm recommends.
- Equipment — check the filter, pump, and other equipment.
- Finish — review, and take a departure photo to complete the visit.
Arrive is always first and Finish always last. Your company sets the order of the four in the middle, so yours may differ.
As you work
- Finish a phase’s required items and you move forward.
- Some tasks only appear at some pools — tile, saltwater, cartridge filter, autofill, pressure-side cleaner. You only see them where that equipment exists.
- Once you finish a visit, PoolHelm closes it for editing. You can look back at it; the app won’t let you change it.
Check first. Tapping Start Service needs a signal. Everything after that — readings, doses, tasks, photos, and finishing — works offline.
