Organization settings
Settings → Organization holds your business’s own details. Most of it reaches your customers.
Your business
- Company name — appears on service reports and invoices. Use the name customers recognize.
- Phone.
- Business address — street, city, state, ZIP. It’s the starting point for techs who start their routes from the office, so it feeds every drive-time estimate in the Planner. Pick it from the suggestions — PoolHelm won’t save an address it can’t place, and it tells you why.
- Days you service — seven day buttons, Mon through Sun. PoolHelm builds routes only on the days you switch on. You can still drag a stop onto any day yourself.
Billing
- Billing frequency — Per Visit. An invoice is created each time a visit is completed.
- Hourly rate for custom work — your standard rate for work you bill by the hour. It fills in when you add hourly work to an invoice, and you can change it on any single invoice.
- Bill chemicals separately — on by default. Chemicals you supplied go on the invoice on top of the visit rate, at your cost plus each product’s markup. Turn it off to fold them into the rate. Chemicals the customer supplied are never billed either way.
Preferences
- Time zone — routes build overnight on your local clock. A wrong time zone means routes appearing at the wrong hour.
- Service email enabled — the default for new customers: whether a service summary goes out after each completed visit. Override it on any single customer from their page.
Not on this page
- Your logo — Settings → Email Templates, because it’s part of your customer emails.
- Exporting your data and clearing your routes — Settings → Data Management.
- Weather settings — Settings → AI Preferences.
