Drive times and address checks
Two things PoolHelm works out for you when it builds a week: whether it can trust an address, and how long the driving takes.
How addresses get checked
Every address is checked when it comes in. Three outcomes:
- Rooftop-accurate — high confidence, ready to route.
- Valid but rural — medium confidence. The exact parcel can’t be pinned, so PoolHelm keeps your own coordinates rather than guessing.
- Bad or made-up — flagged for you, and never silently added to a route.
Each build re-checks a batch of unresolved addresses, so that backlog clears over time.
What the drive-time figures mean
Each day header reads “~53m driving · 8 stops”, and each tech carries a weekly total like “~2h 19m driving this week”.
- Counted: the drive out to the first stop, plus every leg between stops.
- Not counted: the drive home. Your tech’s commute home is their time, not your company’s.
- No usable address at either end? That tech’s day is drawn with no start point, and the figure is measured from the first stop. Fix the address at Settings → Team.
