How customers, properties, and pools fit together

Three levels. A customer is the person you bill. Their property is the address you drive to. Each pool is the water you service. PoolHelm calls it a body of water — a spa is one too.

How they stack

• One customer, many properties. A customer can have more than one address.
• One property, many pools. A property can have more than one body of water.

Why they’re separate

Every pool and spa has its own water chemistry. A backyard pool and an attached spa at the same house get tested, dosed, and reported on their own. The readings and the chemical amounts are right for that water, not an average of both.

Where you see it

Open any customer. Their contact details are at the top, each property beneath, and each property’s pools and spas under that.
