What happens when a stop doesn't get done?
A stop that doesn’t get finished moves to that same tech’s next service day on its own. A tech skipped it, weather stopped it, or the day ran out — same result. You don’t have to move it yourself.
It lands where it fits best on that day’s route, not tacked onto the end.
Next service day means the next day you work. On a Monday-to-Friday week, a Tuesday miss goes to Wednesday and a Friday miss goes to Monday.
Where you’ll see it
The stop is labelled Carried over everywhere it appears: your Planner, the Today page, the tech’s My Route, and your morning briefing.
The Planner states carryover once for the week, not on every day column. That count is work already placed, not work still to schedule.
It only moves itself once
Miss the same stop twice and PoolHelm stops moving it. It goes to the Needs attention tray on Today, for you to reschedule, reassign, or call the customer. Nothing bounces from day to day forever.
What your briefing tells you
- A note when the stop still fits comfortably into the day.
- An amber warning when it pushes a tech past what they can finish, with a one-tap option to rebalance the day. PoolHelm sizes a workday at about eight and a half hours including drive time.
Worth knowing. A carried-over stop still counts as that customer's visit for the week. PoolHelm won't add a second stop on top of one that's already waiting.
