When weather shuts down a stop
Lightning, hail, high wind. PoolHelm watches the weather along your route and marks the stops a storm is going to hit.
On the weather strip
Affected stops are called out at the top of My Route, grouped by storm rather than one alert per pool. You get Skip & Notify Office or Wait & See right there. Skipping records the weather as the reason.
What follows
- The office may get there first. They see the same storm and can skip a stop from their side. Either way it shows up on your route.
- Telling the customer is the office’s job. PoolHelm drafts the message, but nothing reaches the customer until someone in the office confirms it.
- A weather skip works like any other skip. The office is notified, and the stop carries to your next service day.
Safety beats the schedule. If your read of the sky and the app’s read disagree, trust your eyes and skip the stop.
