Flag an issue for the customer or office
Two tools, two situations.
Flag for the customer
While you’re on a task during a visit, flag something the customer should know about — a torn liner, low water, a worn part. The flag rides along on the service report they get after the visit.
Report an issue to the office
From the Reports tab, start a new report, describe what you found, add photos, and send it. It goes to your office, not the customer.
Which one: if the customer should know, flag it on the visit. If the office needs to act, report it.
Flagging doesn’t leave a task unfinished
Done and flagged are two separate things. Complete a task and still flag it — “I cleaned the filter, and the housing is cracked.” Or flag it without completing the task. A flag never blocks you from finishing the visit, and finishing the visit never clears your flag.
