Skip a stop you can't complete
Gate locked, dog loose in the yard, pool drained, nobody home and you need access. Open the stop and skip it, with a reason.
After you skip
- Your office finds out right away. The skip shows on their Today page as soon as you tap it. Call as well if it’s urgent.
- The customer doesn’t lose their visit. PoolHelm carries the stop to your next service day — the next day your company actually works — and drops it into the best spot on that route, labeled “Carried over”.
- It only moves itself once. If the same stop is missed a second time, PoolHelm hands it to your office to decide.
Give a real reason
The reason is what your office sees, and it’s what they tell the customer. “Gate locked, no code on file” gets the problem fixed. “Couldn’t do it” doesn’t.
Don’t skip a stop you’ve already started. Finish it if you can. If you genuinely can’t, say so in the reason so the office knows there’s a partial visit on the record.
