Update your profile and password

Everyone — owner, manager, or tech — has their own account settings at Settings → Account.

What you can change

  • Your name — what your team sees, and what appears on the service reports for visits you complete.
  • Your email address — the one you sign in with, and where PoolHelm reaches you.
  • Your password.
  • Your home address, if you’re a tech.

Change your password

  1. Go to Settings → Account.
  2. Choose to change your password and enter a new one.
  3. Save.

If you’ve forgotten your password, don’t hunt for this page. Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen. You’ll get an email with a link to set a new one. If it doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, check spam.

Techs: your home address sets your start

A route can start from your home rather than the shop, so PoolHelm plans around your real commute. On the Planner map, a house marker means a route starting from home and a briefcase means one starting from the shop. Keep your address accurate so the first stop of your day makes sense.

Your password is yours

Your office can change your role or switch off your access, but they can’t see your password. If they set a starting password so you could sign in on day one, PoolHelm makes you choose your own the first time you sign in. That isn’t optional. After that, change it whenever you like.
