Why did my service day move?
Your visit was moved, not cancelled. It goes to the next day your pool company works — which may not be tomorrow, if they don’t work weekends. You weren’t forgotten.
The usual reasons
- Severe weather. The most common one. Lightning is a real danger to someone standing at a pool with a metal pole. Your pool company watches the forecast at your address, not just your region, and a person there decides whether to move the visit.
- Something at the property. A locked gate with no code, a dog in the yard, or no way to reach the equipment. This is the one you can prevent — make sure your pool company has a current gate code.
- The day ran long. Sometimes there isn’t enough daylight left.
Ordinary rain isn’t a reason
Technicians work in the rain all the time, and a pool still needs its chemistry balanced. The visits that move are the genuinely unsafe ones.
Not sure what happened?
Reply to any email from your pool company. They can see what happened at your pool and tell you when you’re next getting a visit.
